Anthropic's Claude for Mac Desktop App Now Has Built-In Browser

Anthropic's Claude desktop app for Mac now ships with a built-in browser powered by the CoWork feature, letting Claude interact with web pages directly without leaving the app. The browser supports autonomous web research and real-time browsing tasks from within a Claude conversation. The capability is part of the app and is separate from the Claude.ai web interface.
